Time out help.................?

my sn is very ha strong, adi have been trying to in force time-out bt he i the type that will get up and run and bc i have a 4 week old i cat be chacinghim all day, i have a smll room in my house with no door and it has toys in it.... wold it be a bad i dea to take all the toys out ad use it as a time out room? and pu a gate up.... i dont know how to get him to quite gettng up and running. it drives me insane about the 5th time in a row he does that but i dont ant to hm... any ideas?
