Prrofread this story of mine?

If Fred and his Professor are planning on ghost hunting, there must be some kind of history of the university that would suggest to them that they would in fact encounter a ghost, so give us a reason why they think they are going to find ghost there. I would have them meeting back at the university at 200AM, that is dead time, so that would be the hour they are most likely going to find a ghost. At some point in the story you need to explain who these ghost are. Since it is believable that the university could be several hundreds years old, it is possible that each of these ghost could come from different eras. You don't explain to the reader who the ghost are and why they are at this university. Why is a little boy at a university? The university suggest college aged students. Maybe a teacher in the past was known for bringing her little son to school with her and he played ball when he was little, maybe he died of an illness when he was little. Explain the hand in the toilet. Maybe a shop teacher had his hand chopped off by a saw when he was teaching students at the university how to use saws. Explain it somehow. The basketball player could have been a student on the basketball team, maybe he got killed suddenly by a drunk driver and his spirit haunts the gym. Explain the typing, maybe a typing teacher had a heart attack during school hours and died. Maybe the old woman at the chapel was a former Dean of the University and she died of cancer and every student loved her and thought of her as their own grandmother too. The student/girl who hung herself could have hung herself because she was bullied at school. (That way you tie her into something that is current events, since some kids these days are hanging themselves because of school bullies.) Maybe your cop died when there was a fire in the school, years ago, and he died trying to save the students lives. Give the reader an explanation as to why these spirits are still stuck at the university. I am wondering if it would make more sense for Fred and the Professor to drive home instead of trying to find a taxi that late at night. Or maybe you could have Fred and the Professor get into a taxi and drive off and they don't realize it but the taxi driver is a skeleton. Maybe Fred and the Professor are dead and they don't know it yet.
